Under him, Atlas Meridian had become indispensable: prime brokerage, investment banking, market making, research, wealth management, government advisory. It was everywhere money needed permission to move.
Ethan brought the first version of the map to Marcus.
Marcus read it in silence. His office overlooked Park Avenue, but the blinds were half closed, slicing daylight into narrow bands.
"This is interesting," Marcus said.
"It's more than interesting."
"No. Right now it is interesting. Interesting is not tradable. Interesting is not publishable. Interesting gets you sued."
