Noah saw the blood and went pale. "You need a hospital."
"No money."
"That doesn't make dying cheaper."
Ethan almost said he would be fine, but the words felt flimsy. He settled for, "Find me an old radio."
"For what?"
"I'm going to see how this thing works."
Noah thought his brother had lost it. Ethan wasn't sure he hadn't. All he knew was that if he wanted the stain off his name, he couldn't keep lying on the floor like something dragged ashore. He had to learn how to walk in the dark.
