The two commands split the team at the doorway. Zhou Yan charged alone and was erased.
In round two, Lin Mo heard a reload and swung early. His reaction altered the branch; the enemy canceled the reload and met him with a full magazine.
In round three, Su Cheng misread their rushed sign for retreat as an order to push.
Tang Ye tore off his headset and slammed it down. “This is your future? Luring us into the muzzle one at a time?”
Lin Mo snapped back. “Your rifle only believes in you. Why do you need teammates at all?”
They glared across the desk. Zhou Yan did not intervene. He removed his own headset.
“Both of you, shut up. Voice communication is banned from now on.”
Tang Ye stared. “The final is tomorrow.”
