Wei Dachuan placed three tons of frozen fish on a rack before climbing down from his forklift.
He was forty-two, still broad as a wall, though one finger on his left hand no longer straightened. He glanced at the transfer record Shen showed him. “Wrong man.”
Tang produced the old authorization. “Your signature confirmed Seamount Engineering's identity.”
“I was the bank's advertising face. I attended events, not transactions.”
“Then someone borrowed your digital credentials,” Shen said. “Aren't you afraid they'll blame you?”
Wei switched off the forklift. “I've feared worse things. My daughter had two operations. I can't lose this job.”
