The Postmortem Went Viral
Someone else wrote only one line: “I sat in a bathroom for ten minutes after reading your sentence.” Pei Yanzhou looked at those messages and felt the weight of them. Then he slowly understood that he had not fallen into a hole alone. The whole market had been repeating the same pattern: emotional euphoria first, then leverage-driven slaughter.
So he started replying.
He did not tell people what to buy. He did not tell them where the bottom was. He only explained what he had done wrong. He talked about position size, stop-loss, and liquidity. When people pressed him for calls, he answered, “I don’t do signals.” When they asked whether he was trying to build traffic from his losses, he said, “I already paid for the lesson. I’m not selling it twice.”
