Zhou Yan lowered her eyes. She was both trapped by the deal and favored by it. In Xinglan's first life, she had directed all her anger at Zhou. Only later had she understood that the people writing scripts rarely stepped onto the court.
“We can try it,” Xinglan said.
Qiao stared at her. “Have you lost your mind?”
“For the first quarter. But add a trigger: if Yunzhou jumps the strong side, Qiao flashes to the elbow and I cut from the corner. Zhou only has to release the pass.”
Zhou looked up. Xinglan had offered both a step forward and an escape route.
