Eli stared at him. “You see a way out, don't you?”
Kane had single coverage across the field.
“Change it,” Lin said. “Throw to Kane.”
At the snap, three defenders surrounded Lin. Kane beat his corner, but pressure forced Eli's throw two yards short. Kane turned and jumped. The ball glanced off his fingertips.
The game was about to hit the ground.
The defeat probability jumped to 99.1 percent.
