He named it Yellow Door Security, after the door his eight-year-old self had colored for his sister.
“Money is not armor,” he said, pulling on his mask. “It has to become lawyers, infrastructure, witnesses, and a company no one can quietly erase.”
“What am I?” Zero asked.
Lin paused.
“For now, the world’s most expensive risk consultant.”
“Compensation?”
“After you prove LM-03 is not your latest story.”
The probability tree opened. Ninety-nine escape routes turned red. Only one led directly between Clocktower and Convergence teams about to exchange fire.
