Chen placed a matchbox-sized controller on the table. “Because it isn't a timer. Every five minutes it recalculates from cargo thermal inertia, electricity price, door frequency, and compressor condition. You can buy it outright. The price is 1.2 million.”
Gao laughed. “You've got nerve. Forty-eight hours. Don't touch the main store, don't connect to the internet, and you pay for any accident.”
The blind test began at eight that evening.
Tang installed sensors inside the precooling chamber, teeth chattering. “I believe in the moat now. No sane person wants to work in here.”
Chen installed the edge model on an old industrial computer with no wireless card.
