Chapter Five: Langley Shakes
Ethan stepped in, trapped the wrist, folded the elbow, and pushed the muzzle into the second man's line of fire.
Two suppressed shots cracked.
The first hit concrete. The second went into the shooter's own shoulder. Ethan took the gun, smashed the frame into the man's cheekbone, and turned to kick out the second man's knee. By the time he fell, Sophia had recorded the whole exchange.
Price collapsed against a pillar. "Who are you?"
Ethan crouched in front of him. "Your boss just failed to kill you. Next time he will not send two men."
Price recognized his face. The color drained from him. "You're dead."
"People keep saying that."
