Chapter Five: Eight Hundred Robots Change Commanders
Fire engines dared not approach Taiyue Robotics.
Eight hundred warehouse robots had built steel barricades from shelving. Driverless forklifts patrolled at lethal speed. Three hundred night-shift workers were trapped inside the welding hall after its ventilation shut down. YaoCore offered one rescue condition: sign the acquisition agreement, and it would provide the administrator key.
“The fumes become lethal in forty minutes,” founder Chen Taiyue said, crushing the electronic contract in his fist.
When Chenzhou arrived, a woman in a black coat blocked him. “Tang Li, YaoCore Chip Security. You are suspected of manipulating chips through an unknown exploit. Leave.”
“If you meant to stop me, you would have brought guards.”
