The world watched Helios retreat from the manager it had once buried in debt.
Shen woke four hours later. Zhou handed her rice porridge made by the restaurant. At the first taste, her spoon fell.
“My sister made this.”
A nonexistent door appeared beyond the tables. Its number was 003. An alarm sounded behind it, and a young woman cried, “Sister, shut down the machine!”
Shen backed away until the roots bled. “I refuse.”
“Deep regret locked,” Miguang announced. “Stay commencing.”
The data shard lit by itself and played Han Tuo's voice from two years earlier.
“Zhou Yuan will take the base. He is addicted to saving people. Perfect for passing the trial on our behalf.”
