Chapter Two: Astra-X Awakens

The gravity well collapsed under the surge. The second enemy hesitated for four-tenths of a second. Four-tenths was enough. Astra-X seized the broken arm of the first Void mech, swung it like a hammer, and smashed it into the second. The two black frames collided, space echoes shattering around them. Leon gave them no time to recover. The dorsal jump flashed again and again, and the frame became blue thunder shifting three times through the storm. The first punch crushed a head sensor. The second pierced chest armor. The third nailed both enemies into the edge of the mining pit. "Die." The last of the pulse energy discharged. A blue-white explosion cloud rose over the northern mine.
