“Seal the entrance,” Zhao told his guards.
Outside, hundreds of electric-bike horns sounded. Drivers who had regained wages, workers who had received clean water, and patients’ families had arrived. No one had been hired to fight. They had come to defend a rule that kept its promises.
Zhao retreated.
By noon, the public pool exceeded one million yuan. Lin Mo still wore his faded courier uniform, but he controlled Yunhai’s first functioning supply chain.
Tang Li handed him an intercepted radio. Horizon’s internal order repeated through the speaker: “Root holder identified as Lin Mo. Activate identity-erasure protocol.”
