The First Ticket
One shot through the smoke edge took away the most important entry player and killed the timing of the hit. He didn’t chase the second kill. He dashed back to cover and let the team re-form the defense around him.
“That’s not reaction,” one of the casters said after a beat. “That’s reading the round before it happens.”
Northstar Forge finished the map on top. In the final round, Mason used Raze satchels from height to force the defense to lift their crosshair, Caleb locked down the escape route outside site, and Owen’s smoke cut off the last lane of retreat. Jackson barely moved after the round ended. He just nodded once, like the result matched the standard.
Northstar Forge had earned their first VCT Americas ticket.
