Back in the League
VCT Americas felt enormous compared to Challengers. Brighter lights. More camera angles. More people in the media seats. But for Northstar Forge, the real change was not size. It was judgment.
At this level, every mistake gets magnified. Every win gets explained away as luck. Lose once, and the old labels come rushing back as if they had never left.
So they treated their first league match like a statement.
The opponent was a North American powerhouse with more money, more history, and a deeper bench than Northstar Forge had ever had. In pre-match interviews, the other side said Northstar’s good stretch was probably about to end. The desk treated it like a reasonable warning, not even a real threat.
