Lu Chen assumed it was malware. Then glass shattered in the bathroom.
He grabbed a folding chair and charged in. A man stood among the broken mirror pieces—wet black hair, faded gray shirt, a pale scar over the left eyebrow. He had Lu Chen's face.
Only the eyes were different. Lu Chen's were bloodshot from sleepless nights. The stranger's gaze was as calm as a newly booted server.
