The first thing Zhou Lin did after returning from the dead was dismantle Zhiwei's lock. “The hand that pulled me through a paper bag can enter through a door,” he said, driving an engraved silver nail into the frame. “An ordinary lock is useless.” “So you broke mine?” “Lu Jiming will pay.” Jiming looked out from the kitchen. “Why does the husband pay the murder victim's bill?” “Because you share her property,” Chenxing said from the darkest corner. “The door is marital property.” Zhiwei slapped a form onto the table: SECOND-NIGHT EXPERIMENT LOG. Resurrection had restored none of Zhou Lin's memories. It had only left a cinnamon-colored six on his wrist.
