Lin Wan knocked the first rider's helmet away. There was no head inside, only a crumpled birthday invitation.
Zhou Ran used Rule Annotation, adding three words to MUST STOP AT GREEN LIGHTS: FOR PEDESTRIANS.
Specters of the seventeen rescued victims crossed the road. The pursuing riders had to stop, forming an endless black traffic jam.
Yet the navigation distance doubled to forty-six years.
“The meal,” Lin Wan said. “We never established what we're carrying.”
Rule One prohibited the rider from looking. Zhou Ran was only acting manager. The restaurant itself was the rider.
He opened the box.
There was no pizza, only a beating mechanical heart. Twelve thin wires extended from it.
