Chapter Three: The Sentence That Was Erased
Undertow's composition had no early burst. Throne had drafted the most violent rush strategy possible. At eight minutes, Undertow trailed zero to six. At fifteen, all three outer towers were gone. Behind them, the coach squeezed his clipboard, visibly convinced the trial had ended.
“We can't yield the next dragon,” Undertow's young jungler said.
“Yield it,” Shen Yan replied.
“They'll take high ground!”
“They need twenty-one seconds to kill dragon, eight to recall, seventeen to walk from pit to our base. We trade for top tower and two waves. Lin Qi leaves one ward. Nobody else shows.”
The rookies resisted until Lin Qi said, “Follow him.”
