The lights in the underground garage died.
Tang rose. Malice did not come from one person. It flooded the building like ice water.
Every camera froze. Seven vehicle doors opened, and twenty-four people in gray combat suits entered from separate points. Their unmarked exoskeletons belonged to Dome Alliance, but they moved as if sharing one nervous system.
