They sprinted into the side street. Their pursuers were almost on them when an old billboard above the alley suddenly came loose. Noah reacted on instinct, seeing the load points before it fell. He yanked the panel sideways and sent it crashing into the truck's hood instead of their heads. Metal thunder, shattering glass, chat feed exploding. He heard his name being shouted by thousands of people all at once. Across the street, in the shadow of a high-rise, a man in a tailored suit watched the livestream and slowly smiled. "Found him," he said into an earpiece. "Bring Noah Keller to me. The Council doesn't want him dead. They want the door opened." Noah didn't know it yet, but the hunt had only just started.
