Chapter One: The Erased Starter
At 5:40, the enemy mid and jungle both sprouted bright routes toward top.
"Back off. Three coming."
"River is warded," Zhou objected, though he stepped back. An instant later, the enemy mid bypassed the ward with a teleport behind the tower. Zhou escaped with a sliver of health.
"Lucky," he said.
By twelve minutes, Lin knew it was not luck. Yet he could still be wrong. He saw where players moved, not what ability they meant to cast. Once, he prepared a countergank too aggressively and died to better execution.
The power was not victory. It merely handed him the exam ten seconds early. He still had to answer correctly.
In the second game, he tested its boundary.
