At 1–1 in the eighty-third minute, Marcus dribbled arrogantly in defence. Eli blocked the back pass instead of diving in. Danny pressed from the other side. Marcus panicked.
Lin intercepted. He could shoot, but fed Eli. Eli could shoot, but squared for youth graduate Noah.
With his first senior touch, the eighteen-year-old scored.
Greyport won 2–1 and earned another promotion at season's end.
