The sole surviving purchase order pointed to Hanhai Financial Center, where a city security technology summit was being held that day. Its keynote speaker was Han Ce, director of Skyweb. The fifth photograph appeared at the same time. Its web had been pulled into the straight line of a bullet's path. Dew marked 14:20. There was a single red point, centered on Han Ce's forehead. “Future-you wants you to save the villain?” Tang Guo asked. Lin Wan projected the trajectory onto a wall. “Or force us to protect him. The photograph doesn't show the firing position.”
