Banks looked up. Salin's expression hardened.
“Bello is a good player,” Lin continued, “but not the player Seabridge needs. He occupies Kane's most productive receiving zones without providing the counterpressing demanded by Marcus Veer's system. Unless the club sells Kane or changes shape, this transfer depreciates two assets at once.”
Salin tapped the table. “Do you know who is driving this deal?”
