“If we cancel, Wen Que will choose a screen we can't see.” She signed the form. “The film opens on time. We have forty-eight hours to find the master reel and turn the premiere into his funeral.”
The three-shaped wound burned as she finished her name.
Across the street, a faceless person in white stood unnoticed in the crowd. It touched its chest exactly as Ye Lan did. Then, using her father's voice, it silently formed a sentence.
