The ticket belonged to locker F117 at Haizhou Central Station. At four in the morning, Zhou Lin found an old recorder and a blue ledger with most of its pages torn out. Static filled the tape before a tired, clear female voice emerged. “Linlin, if you hear this, they have finally moved against you. Don't rush to find me. First find three numbers: forty-seven, zero, twelve. Remember, a dealer's greatest skill is not winning. It is making you believe his options are the only ones.” Zhou Lin froze over the play button. Eighteen years had blurred her voice, yet that childhood name still felt like a hand reaching through time to touch his hair.
