Xu Zhi faced the camera. “Market regulators have reached the lobby.”
Lin Yue blanched and excused himself. He left the briefcase behind but signaled Biao, who carried it into the pantry. Biao pulled out a flash drive, dropped it beside a coffeepot, and prepared to destroy it with water. Xu Zhi had hidden a second phone atop a cabinet. Every movement went live.
