The sixth cup belonged to the artist. As she accepted it, her pencil brushed the lid, leaving a streak of blue identical to the one on cup seven.
Lu felt a chill.
The cups had been switched.
The young woman raised the coffee but did not drink. Instead, she toasted Lu from across the cabin. Her sketchbook lay open on her knees. She had not drawn the window. She had drawn a honeycomb, with a tiny numeral 1 at its center.
