Lin Mo decided to test it. It was a stupid decision, but fear had a way of cornering people inside logic. If he could prove last night was a coincidence, then the wall, the photograph, and the ghost approval could all be handed over to a psychiatrist. During lunch, he locked himself in a restroom stall and posted: “The orange cat downstairs will wear a red bow tie today.” He had chosen something harmless, specific, and too trivial for anyone to care about.
