In the corridor, Su Li heard paper rustling from bed to bed. “The paper child?” Xie looked toward the door. “Seven stable patients deteriorated in three days. Their tests explain nothing, but every expected discharge date has been moved back.” “A computer error?” Xu Tang asked. “The paper charts changed too.”
