In a private room, Ma Huicheng smashed his glass. “Activate the second-floor mechanism. Don't let the third ball survive.” The last tee stood nine meters high. The green was hidden among twelve identical containers. A player could see only a tilted mirror and had to judge the flag from its reflection. The moment Lu stepped onto the platform, pain tore through his skull. Every gold line ended in empty air. He lacked information, and Perfect Trajectory could not see through walls. “Create your third miracle,” the host said. Lu looked at the crowd instead. Objects had routes, but so did people. The host's earpiece connected to the private room. A red line ran from that room to an electrical box, then to the floor of Container Six.
