They had used Crown's money to buy legal protection for their trap. At 3:59 the next day, Chen, Zhixia, and Zhou waited in Crown Tower's fire-control room. Upstairs, Tang deliberately selected the wrong floor during a handover meeting, forcing the purchasing director into the predicted elevator. At four, the mirror revealed the code. Zhixia did not steal the phone. She filmed the mirror with Zhou's analog camera—offline, unuploaded, invisible to algorithms. “Zero viewing,” Zhou said. The elevator alarms erupted. Every exit locked. A crown appeared on the display.
