Chapter Two: Who Stole the Proof
He displayed the MU-0 upload log. The room's suspicion swung toward Shen.
【Should I invade the system and delete the log?】 Mu-Zero asked through his earbud.
“Can you?”
【No. I was testing whether you would accept.】
Shen unclenched his fist. “The log is real. I used Mu-Zero for verification. Now I invite everyone here to verify me.”
He walked to the board and rebuilt the proof without notes: the graph-generating history, the spectral-deficit functional, and the self-collapse of bad events. After forty-five minutes, an editor rose to supply one omitted matrix bound.
“It holds,” she said. “And Professor He's displayed proof does not.”
He retreated to project ownership and institutional records.
