Xu Xi stood beside it and told someone offscreen, “Density is not sight. Density creates a shared omission.”
Before the clip ended, she faced the camera.
“Xiao Zhou, if you're watching, don't follow the white line.”
Xu froze the image. She had never seen that sentence. The file header said twenty-one seconds; the player read twenty-eight.
Their attention had restored seven deleted seconds.
At six, the agents began to die. Each invented Lin received its own recommendation—three hundred faces, three hundred slightly different timers. Peripheral Vision turned the noise into anchors.
When the last agent closed, Lin's countdown jumped to 19:08:31. They had gained forty-seven minutes.
