“Then promise that if I lose consciousness, no one takes the rings.” He released her slowly. “I promise.” The moment her finger touched platinum, cathedral bells thundered. White petals fell inside Cloudshore’s glass chapel. Mira stood at the altar in a pearl-covered gown. Harbor City’s elite filled the pews, every phone and camera aimed forward.
