Sofia's Files
Sofia Hart had three rules for sources. Never trust outrage. Never accept a conclusion before the documents earn it. Never meet twice in the same place unless you want the second meeting watched.
Ethan appreciated the rules because they resembled risk management. A bad source was a concentrated position. A dramatic claim was leverage. A document was collateral, though even collateral could be forged, misunderstood, or marked at fantasy value.
For six months they built the Atlas Meridian file without calling it a file. Ethan supplied market structure: research timestamps, options volume, dealer positioning, borrow changes, unusual ETF flows, and the suspicious recurrence of the same language across reports.
