The First Turnaround
Two teams collided near a ridge, and the third-party fire immediately tore the terrain apart. Emily called positions at a fast clip: “Left vehicle is burning, right team is popping shields, don’t peek yet, wait for their reset.”
Chase stayed glued to cover, moving like the map was alive.
That was the first time he really understood tempo.
Not “Can I win this gunfight?”
But “Can I arrive at the exact right place while everyone else is busy being wrong?”
The final 1v2 came against an experienced duo that played well together. Ethan got knocked first. Chase was left with only a thin layer of Overshield and half a Med Mist. He didn’t force the fight immediately.
