Black Water at the Port
So Ethan had to make Ron lose control of the room.
He sprinted at the refrigerated truck and slashed the cooling line. A burst of white vapor ripped out, turning the warehouse into a strobing maze. Inside the truck were not only cargo but hidden monitors and file boxes. Ethan dragged one out and slammed it on the floor. Papers spilled everywhere: Lighthouse engineering diagrams, transfer logs, and funding sheets.
"Looking for this?" he shouted.
Ron actually changed color.
He lunged, but Ethan pulled him toward the center of the warehouse on purpose. The overhead beam had already been weakened by the earlier disruption, and water was seeping through a crack in the upper joint.
