“You wouldn’t stop filming,” Lin accused. “Mother told you to take me out.”
Qiao went pale. “I remember you running back for the blue-rimmed bowl. Mother went back for you.”
“I didn’t.”
“I saw you.”
The corridor split into two flawless truths. On Lin’s side, young Qiao held the camera. On Qiao’s, young Lin clutched the bowl. Between them, wallpaper tore open around turning gears and white light.
