Then it became a supermarket flyer. Only half a silver emblem remained: an eye cut by a slash.
“Who gave you this?”
Han's gaze flickered.
Lu tore the paper apart before the livestream. On-screen, the orange cat ripped open cat food. Han's men tried to seize him, but all three devices announced: No valid target detected.
In the age of universal livestreaming, a person without footage had no crime scene.
Lu pushed Han outside. “Tell whoever sent you that I'll investigate the video. I don't owe one cent.”
The stream topped the local chart. Not one frame proved Lu had appeared. The platform summary read: Streamer searches for orange cat; helpful residents observe.
Ten minutes later, a stranger messaged him.
