Chapter Two: The Internet’s Worst Team Goes to a Wedding
Wanxiang drove the wedding car around the field once, memorizing each flower monster as a bus stop.
“Next stop, Rose Lane. Exiting passengers, please remember your teeth.”
The car drifted beautifully, dragging every monster into the fallen banquet hall. Luanma pointed at a nearly invisible crack in the sky. “That isn’t background. It’s an entrance to discarded assets!”
Zhaoye jumped across the flying rings toward the cake tower. The Star-Mist Top Hat should have given him a second aerial step. Without it, his foot met empty air.
A rope of frosting caught his waist.
Xiaogao gripped the piping bag with both hands. “I told you anything can become cake. Safety ropes included!”
“This violates every food-safety law.”
